My wonderfully amazing bass teacher (+some other people that work with him at FBass*) is building me a custom bass guitar (though not an Fbass) and i get to paint on it. c:
This was one of the ideas, i sketched it digitally o3o
No references used whatsoever 8D
He was inspired by blue poison arrow frogs. X3
And his tongue curls into a bass clef shape.
